About the network

Mediating Religion is an international network of academics and interested associates working in the area of religion, culture and social change. Our focus is on the multiple, interconnected ways in which religious ideas and practices are mediated in the contemporary world.

Mediating Religion seeks to serve as a network of networks - fostering sustainable links with researchers, sharing and exchanging ideas, developing joint research projects and exploring innovative methodologies to confront the interdisciplinary challenge posed by contemporary religion.

The network has developed from and seeks to extend the work of the Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change (CRESC).
